Light Fuse......Get Away

By now many of you may have already heard about my other exciting new project, Imagillaboration.

This project is an opportunity for sculptors around the country to work collaboratively with others in their region to produce a body of sculptural work that will then become a traveling exhibition.

Groups from various areas of the country will be mad up of ideally, eight people. Each person in each group will create an element for a sculpture. these elements will then rotate through everyone else in the group every six weeks, being added to each time.

By the time everyone in each group has contributed to each piece, there will be 8 finished pieces, consisting of  8 elements each.

The success of this project hinges on a very large number of people participating. I am looking for about 80 people, maybe more.

These people will ideally be from regional "nodes", an area it is reasonable for people to transport work to each other without having to ship things repeatedly.

The website features an artist directory with pictures, artist statement/bios, a forum for discussion related to the project, and a gallery of work being done by participants both for the project and their other personal work.

Please help me spread the word. Get some friends together and register, we will have a great time, and get tons of exposure for this endeavor.

 please visit the website HTTP://WWW.IMAGILLABORATION.ORG
