How to put embedded video on forum

If you want to include Youtube video, I have added a feature that allows you to simply input the "watch" URL to the post and it will automatically add the embedded video.

for example:

Code:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVnkd7ot_pw

gives you this:

http://www.youtube.com/

If you want to add from Google video, the process is slightly different.

copy the "embed" code from the google video website
Paste the code into the message box of you post so you can see it
Click the "insert Flash" button on the toolbar above your post box, it is the first one on the left side, its pink and blueish
change the numbers where it says "Flash=xxx,xxx" so the numbers are similar to the dimensions of the video, in pixels. 400,326 should be fine
find the URL of the actual stream in the "embed" code, (just the part I highlighted in red) see what the finished code looks like in the example below
delete the rest of the unneeded code, or leave it until you are sure you did it right, you can modify your post if it doesn't work right the first time

Of course, if you know more about xhtml, embed scripts, and bbcode markup than I do, then you may be able to do more. I am, however, unable to set full html permissions for users, so you have to you will have to use basic html, and bbcode.
