Annual USM Iron Pour
Saturday, November 8th
Burn-in starts at 10 AM
Molds need to be finished an on the floor Friday evening.
GREEN SAND demo by North Carolina visiting artist Barron Brown- on the day of the pour.
Public lecture by the artist on Thursday evening, November 6th. Pot Luck dinner Friday night.

Large molds welcome, but please give us a heads up if you're coming with anything over 500 lbs. Molds must be complete, ready to go, banded or clamped.

Our furnace can take large iron, so if you have stuff that is to big for your furnace (brake drums etc) bring it here. Email us if you are not sure.

We do not have shell capacity. We can do wax meltout of resin molds, but that means you have to get your mold in the kiln by Thursday early morning at the latest, as we pack up the kiln Thusday night to lay the floor out.

We charge for iron or bring your own. All participants expected to help with clean up!
